Network-capable multi-channel amplifier

In the course of the often necessary networking of audio frequency amplifiers in installation applications, axxent e.K. is now presenting the first products for this:

Der beliebte und langjährig bewährte Vierkanalverstärker AX4120TS is provided with network capability and Dante input. The amplifier is now called AX4120DSC/Dante, has 4 channels with 120 watts each into 4 ohms and 50, 70 and 100 V and is equipped with high quality toroidal output transformers to enable earth-free, respectively galvanic isolation.

The amplifier is not only network-compatible, but also has an advanced digital sound processor with group control. The signal inputs are analogue and additionally equipped with Dante interface. The amplifier outputs can be used either with low impedance or with high impedance via the isolating transformers. In low-impedance mode, the outputs can be operated in pairs in bridge mode for double output power.

Another amplifier type AX-4240TS-D with Dante with the output power of 4x240 Watt is also in preparation and will be available in late autumn.

Software for both the LAN setting and the DSP functions are each supplied on a USB stick.

Construction: The two four-channel amplifiers are based on class AB technology for best sound quality, and have a controlled silent fan for installation use even in quiet rooms. All outputs are designed with Phönix screw/clamp connections and the analogue inputs with balanced XLR connectors as usual.
