In contrast to mobile beltpacks, the BP100F station has no call signalling, but only a push-to-talk switch with three positions for ease of use: Momentary push-button function, off and permanent on. As the intercom station was developed for installation in systems, the connection for hands-free intercom combinations is located on the front.
The BP100F can be operated without the use of a main station. Several devices can be connected in series using the daisy chain method with standard microphone cables or in a star configuration with signal level distributors. Power is supplied via special power supply units: e.g. axxent PS101S for 230 V AC voltage or axxent VS100 for 12 V on-board power supplies.
